  • What is the difference between “Easy” vs. “Easy/Intermediate” vs. “Intermediate/Complex” workshop?
An “Easy” workshop includes basic folds only. No prior experience or folding knowledge is required. These classes include mountain and valley folds and may introduce squash folds and reverse folds. An “Easy/Intermediate” workshop requires a basic knowledge of origami folds. If you get stuck or if you have some questions, please raise your hand. There could be squash folds, reverse folds and rabbit ear folds. An “Intermediate/Complex” workshop requires a skillset that includes a wide range of experience folding various spread squash and sink folds to inside and outside reverse folds, sink folds (typically most challenging), petal folds, double rabbit ear folds (also challenging), pleat folds and crimp folds. These classes are for advanced folders only. Without prior knowledge or experience with these types of folds, please be forewarned that you will fall behind. If this happens and you realize that you are soon “in over your head”, please don’t panic. Respect the challenge kindly and agree to fold separately when you have more time after the class.
  • If I purchase a seat for a workshop and I cannot attend, do I get a refund?
Refunds will be issued on a case by case basis but not guaranteed. All transaction fees will be subtracted from the refund. All refund requests must be requested by emailing origami.chaos@gmail.com.
  • Is there a Code of Conduct for the event?
Yes. CHAOS has a code of conduct and it will be enforced during the event in conjunction with the rules of the hosting facility. Please see CHAOS Code of Conduct by clicking CoC
